Spatial design (week6-10)

Week 6 - Assignment 1 presentation

Class Summary and Reflection

Because there are many students in our class, we continued with the PowerPoint presentations. One classmate's presentation left a deep impression on me as both her speech and PowerPoint were excellent in every aspect. Her speech was fluent, confident, and delivered smoothly without notes. The content of her PowerPoint was detailed and rich, with her own insights. I will learn from her strengths and work on improving myself.

Week 7 - Assignment 2 partA presentation

Class Summary and Reflection

Before the class, we had already completed Part A of Assignment 2 and created our PowerPoint presentations. In this class, the teacher asked us to present our ideas and turn them into PowerPoint slides for everyone to showcase in class. The teacher provided guidance on each person's ideas and concepts. My concept was to create a space for relaxation, with several whiteboards and a screen displaying waves and a beach. Students could write down their worries on the whiteboards, and the waves would wash them away. The teacher said the starting point and the main idea were good, but the spatial design must include objects.https://www.canva.cn/design/DAGVsUGCwIU/oydOsr104byXgRMSY4t7AQ/edit?utm_content=DAGVsUGCwIU&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Week 9

Class Summary and Reflection

Last week, our teacher reviewed each of our PowerPoint presentations and pointed out the areas where we could improve. The teacher provided a detailed analysis of each presentation, offering specific suggestions for improvement to help us enhance the overall effectiveness of our presentations. In terms of design, the teacher advised us to focus on maintaining a clean layout, selecting appropriate fonts, and coordinating colors effectively. Regarding content, the teacher emphasized the importance of clear logical structure, highlighting key points, and keeping the information concise. This review and feedback session gave us a deeper understanding of how to create better PowerPoint presentations and taught us how to make effective adjustments in both visual design and content delivery. This week, our teacher gave a detailed explanation of the user journey map section in our assignment. The lesson covered the key components of the user journey map, how to construct it step by step, and how to analyze the target users effectively. We learned how to identify the different stages of a user's interaction with a product or service, from initial awareness through to post-purchase behavior. Additionally, the teacher guided us on how to apply user analysis techniques to better understand user needs, pain points, and goals, which are crucial for designing an intuitive and effective user experience.
